You will need some basic components such as wiring, battery, light bulb, and then a variety of materials to be tested for conductibility such as nails, rubber, plastic, aluminum foil, combs, staples, paperclips, etc. This activity engages students in understanding which materials are conductors and which ones are insulators. They will develop their understanding of the material that allow for the flow of electrons and will love doing it! They idea is they develop their understanding of why and how animals interact with their environment and how their adaptations help them survive. Broken into five parts, students will learn various vocabulary, understand the food chain in which their animal interacts with, the various adaptations it has and an option poster or diorama. Each component has a correlating worksheet and template to set students up for success. Students can either choose their animals or have them assigned, but they will love learning about the animals in their world.
